For children the content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood however, theories suggests that dreams help in memory formation, problem solving or just a product of random brain activation.
What do children dream about? Do we know the meanings of their dreams? Dreams are basically information they’ve collected from their bedroom, toys and parents’ faces; also it allows their conscious minds to build a footpath to their daily life, this occurs without self-aware control and helps them to develop language. Scientifically proven dream is a process that spring up in early childhood, once they have acquired the capacity to imagine things visually and spatially.
Even if your little one can’t talk, doesn’t mean they are not collecting information about the world. According to research, children between ages 3 and 4 portray non-moving and plain characters, with no personality that moves or acts with just a couple of emotions.
We can say for children, the meaning is just a supplement of their thoughts, feelings and physical development; during the sleeping time, the outer information is organized as a part of a dream.
As parents, our mission is up bring and understand our children’s at home; it is important to observe your little ones, try to sympathize will help to their learning and development as well as to gain self-confidence.

- Listening and understanding is the key of communication.
- Love is unconditional, let your children know how much you love them even when they are miserable.
- Raise aspirations in things they haven’t done well, encourage them to reach the task.
- Encourage independent thinking and challenge stereotypes.
- Talk about what it means to aspire to be or do something.
- Read books about famous people and share about their aspirations. Include books about the people your child sees every day.
- Introduce real people, talk about people in their community you and your child know and how there people aspired to meet their goal.
That is why your Little Dreamer Nursery needs to be nurtured, loved and accepted, because dreams are the source of an interest, passion and goals.
